Child Sexual Abuse Awareness Drive

During the youth day of service week, we supported an NGO in a sexual abuse awareness drive project. We enlightened parents in the Iju-shaga community on sexual abuse awareness – we discussed with them on how to identify if their child is being abused, steps to take to help the child recover from the experience, causes and how to prevent sexual abuses, appropriate authorities to report sexual abuse incidences to etc. At the ended of the sessions, we distributed foodstuff packages to all attendees.
