What We Do
We are passionate about contributing to the achievement of the SDG 4 in Nigeria – Quality Education. We create platforms that contribute to the growth and development process of the younger generation through quality education.
Our focus on public schools is to try and create a levelled ground for the disadvantaged/under-privileged children in Nigeria. We do this by focusing on 5 problem areas in education namely:
- Unconducive learning environments
- Lack of adequate learning resources
- Hungry school children
- Poor quality of teaching
- Lack of exposure to mentorship and career guidance
Our Initiatives
The Real Impact has created five (5) initiatives which are specifically aimed at providing solutions to the five (5) issues raised above. They are:
The Equipped to Learn Initiative
Focused on making an impact by ensuring that public schools in Nigeria are well equipped with school supplies and children have access to learning resources needed for a quality learning experience.
Better Space, Better Learning Initiative
Focused on constructing, reconstructing and rehabilitating of bad school infrastructure common in public schools, in order to make the spaces more conducive for learning.
One sure Meal Initiative
Focused on providing one meal per school day to students in order to reduce hunger and malnutrition among school children and enhance the achievement of Universal Basic Education.
You Too Can Initiative
Focused on exposing senior secondary public-school students to various future career opportunities by having real life career professionals speak to them and inspire them with stories of their own personal journeys.
Supplementary Learning Initiative
Focused on providing additional learning support to public school students to enhance learning and improve on knowledge retention. The programs will also cover other creative areas of education that are generally not available in the current system.
