About Project
Project description: The Equipped to Learn Initiative will hold its very first fundraising event – Art for Education. Art for Education is an art exhibition geared at raising funds to provide learning materials to children in public primary schools.
This fundraising event will hold at the Hourglass Gallery in Victoria Island, Lagos and will feature an exhibition of artworks from remarkable artists who believe in our cause and have very generously pledged their hard work towards making a sustainable impact.
The involved artists will provide artworks to be displayed for sale at the exhibition and will commit to donating the proceeds from the sale of the artwork to the initiative.
All funds raised will be used to provide textbooks and practical workbooks covering basic literacy and numeracy for students in public primary schools in Lagos.
